Fly a lot? Fly a little? Doesn’t matter. When you book your ticket check out www.seatguru.com and find the best seat for you. Need a power outlet for your laptop? Want an exit row seat with a bit more legroom? Need to be near the restroom? This web site tells you all about the plane your airline flies and which seats have the amenities you need.

Today, I mentioned a great (free) service that allows you to send yourself (or others) small messages/reminders. It’s called Jott (www.jott.com) and you call the toll free number, speak your message and the service transcribes it and emails it to you. If you’ve ever been somewhere when you need to send a quick message or reminder and can’t write it down (like on the road), give Jott a try.
