Very informative podcast for those in need of network advice or router setup assistance. There’s also another great feature to add in the discussion regarding Wifi and your home network: Pure Networks, the maker of Network Magic, built a very unique security scan tool, it scans not just one computer but your entire home or small office network for security problems. This security scan focuses on detecting security holes with your wireless network, although it also checks whether you have firewalls setup correctly, whether your file sharing settings are leaving you exposed to hackers, and it does a scan of your router ports to identify whether any have been left open and available to hackers. This is the only scan we found that checks the security of your wireless network. Using this combined with antivirus scans would be a good combination to protect yourself.
